Transformed: Eating and Body Image Bible Study Group

A 7 week study for women struggling with eating and body image issues who desire to look at the spiritual components of walking in freedom. The materials will focus on one topic a week paired with scripture and skill building. Group time will involve connection, discussion, skill practice and prayer. The group will meet at Calvary Church in room 140 on Tuesday nights from 7-830pm 10/11/16-11/22/16. All materials are provided free of charge. Must register in advance with Jen at mieatingdisordersalliance@gmail.com. This study is part 1 of 2. Part 2 will be held in the spring of 2017: dates and time TBA. 

Forest View Group

CTED (Comprehensive Treatment for Eating Disorders) sponsors a free community support group for anyone in recovery from an eating disorder as well as their family members and friends. The group meets from 7 - 8:15 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month. Jennifer Wisniewski, MA, LLP, is the current group leader, partnering with Karen Holmquist, AT, a Forest View employee. On the 4th Monday, Gail Hall, LMSW, attends and leads a separate forum for family members and support individuals. The group meets in the community room of Forest View Hospital, 1055 Medical Park Drive SE. Forest View is very close to our office. Please park on the south side and use the Community Room/PHP entrance. The group is free; no preregistration is required.
