MiEDA offers education and prevention seminars and workshops for school-aged children (K-12), parents, educators/coaches and medical professionals.

  • In our workshops for middle school and high school aged students we focus on promoting positive body-image, self-acceptance, and becoming critical viewers of the media.
  • For Educators/Coaches we offer insights into how eating disorders affect performance in school, how to identify signs and symptoms and how to alert parents.
  • For parents we focus on signs and symptoms of eating disorders, how to feed your children in a weight obsessed world, and what resources are available to you.
  • For medical professionals, we focus on how to identify signs and symptoms of eating disorders, how to implement effective treatment and how to play a supportive role in the patient's care.
