National Eating Disorder Support Resources

Families Empowered and Supporting Treatment of Eating Disorders (FEAST) is an international support, education and advocacy organization for parents and caregivers.

A free peer support community with groups, mentorship program, and treatment referrals available to anyone struggling with an eating disorder and their families. Helpline: 1-888-375-7767

A national nonprofit organization providing referrals, education, and support for individuals experiencing eating disorders and their loved ones. Helpline: 1-866-662-1235.

A nonprofit organization offering programs in the following areas: meal support; clinical assessment; insurance navigation, and cash assistance.

Eating Disorder Education & Advocacy

The EDC advances the recognition of eating disorders as a public health priority throughout the United States.

The Academy for Eating Disorders (AED) helps physicians, psychiatrists, psychologists, nutritionists, academic researchers, students and experts through lived experience connect and collaborate with each other and keep abreast of recent developments in eating disorders research.

The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) is the lead federal agency for research on mental disorders.
