Eating Disorder Training Modules for Professionals
This 11-module curriculum equips healthcare professionals caring for individuals with eating disorders with the knowledge and skills to identify, assess, and treat these conditions across diverse populations. It spans foundational concepts, clinical features, screening, assessment, nutrition therapy, therapeutic modalities, family involvement, and culturally responsive care.
These training modules were developed through a collaborative partnership between Grand Valley State University’s Physician Assistant Studies (PAS) Training Program and MiEDA. The modules are integrated into the GVSU PAS curriculum and were developed with funding from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Primary Care Training and Enhancement: Physician Assistant Rural Training in Behavioral Health Program grant.
